Watkins-Pitchford in Shropshire

Dear Members,I am currently researching the background of a pair of Chinese vases which are reputed to have belonged to Dr Wilfred Watkins-Pitchford of Bridgnorth in Shropshire.  The story goes that the vases were bought at auction in Bridgnorth when Watkins-Pitchford moved from Oldbury to live with his brother in Madeley and a large collection of chattles was sold off.  He died in 1952 and so it would have been in that year or a little before but probably not pre-1950.  So I'm trying to…See More
