Famous Pitchfords - The Great Cardini

OK, the most famous Pitchford I know of is "The Great Cardini" (aka Richard Pitchford), co-founder of The Magic Circle and allegedly the world's greatest master of sleight-of-hand. Born in Wales, lived and worked in England and the States. More details here. What other contenders can anyone suggest?
