My father's family (Dan & Eunice Pitchford were his parents) grew tobacco in Scottsville, Kentucky. And as far as I know, were there in the area for generations. I know very little about them. My grandmother, Eunice, did some family research and had mapped some of a family tree, but I was not close to the Scottsville Pitchfords and don't know what happened to all that information when she died. I remember meeting two cousins - Debbie & Danna Pitchford - when I was back there for my dad's memorial, but that was a long, long time ago. Do any of these names ring a bell with anyone? I'm at chrisp@winfirst.com. thanks.

Scottsvill, Kentucky is where my family and many others here have their roots. It you have the name of an ancester who was alive during 1930
the connection could possible easily made. Or any dates, older the better. You can go to my site at lhagen.tribalpages.com and see is any of the Pitchfords there are familiar. I have a much bigger sit on ancestry.com that I will check for you.
