Jane Pitchford Leech said… - Hi David. Thanks so much for the site. Although I married a "Leech" when I was 21, I didn't want to change my name because I was proud of it, but he insisted. I divorced him in 1979 but circumstances at the time I am sad to say, prevented me from re-emerging as Pitchford. It now seems all too difficult. But who knows. There are a few Pitchfords in Australia and I know my father's father were based in Western Australia. I will endeavour to obtain further information. I know one Pitchford unknown to me has been trying to piece bits of information together. I would love to be able to delve into the history. Great work, thank you. Jane
