MY E-MAIL ADDRESS IS richardp@pminv.com it's my work place but the only e-mail address i got. Dan S. Pitchford was my grandfather, i remember going to Nashville with him and sitting in bleecher seat at the Grand Old Oprea. he would sit with his old buds and drink something out of a paper sack. back then it was a big barn type building with 1 singer after another and us kids would just watch and learn. grandma was a church going women, little bitty gal. us boys all got the Pitchford nose, we all look like grandpa and pop. well got to get back to work.

my dad, Joel had a sister, Shirley married Doug Spears, they had 2 daughters Debbie and Danna. all from Scottsville. Dan farmed and owned the only taxi company in town then. Dans Taxi, 2 old white Chevys that him and my grandma drove. the farm was all signed over to Carl lee Pitchford my brother and he was never to sell or give it away. but we haven't heard from him for 15 years. Oldest of us is Joel F jr. he's in Aspen and New York. my sister can tell you more about him. it.s been 15 years sents Pop died. he was a war hero and service his country his whole life. i'm proud to be his son and and to be a Pitchford. let me know if i can help you i'm new to this computer age but learning quickly.

I have already scanned all of my aunt Gay's pictures. I have several of my grandfather, his brother, and their dad and mom. I only found that one of Wesley D. I did find a book that had some hand written information in it and also made a scan of it. Like I said I need to get busy and scan it all and put it on a disc.

We have started Chemo and it is going well. So far no bad reactions. I have heard from Sis and I need to take time to scan all my Pitchford Documents and pictures and send her a CD. since I have no children I am so glad that someone wants my Pitchford research. I just wish i could find someone that wanted the rest. I have a 4 shelf bookshelf full of Notebooks.

I will be going back to Webster County to the Mt. Zion Cemetery where Wesley D. and his father Eli Pitchford are buried. My Dad and Grandfather are also buried there. Susannah Jane Alford's parents are also buried near Wesley D. and Susannah. I have taken pictures of all the tombstones. I don't know if I told you but I found a picture of Wesley D. with his 2nd wife. I was just amazed when I found it at my great aunt Gay's. She had many pictures that she had inherited from John Pitchford, my great grandfather and the son of Wesley D. I am still looking for a picture of Susannah Jane. I think that would be a great find.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Husband has Stage 4 Colon Cancer which has moved to the liver. Everything has been put on hold at this time.
