Other bits and pieces:: I am 55 and live in Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. I have one older brother, Andrew. My father, Walter Albert Richard Pitchford, was born in Perth, Western Australia and his father, Edwin, and one brother tried their luck with gold prospecting without success. They then turned their hands to delivering firewood. Have more family history but would need to locate. My father passed away in July 2001 at the age of 93.
